a citation, and

all expenses paid presentation of the paper in an Special Event/AGM.

The procedure for selecting a paper for the Award requires that the paper is awarded Rating Points by three experts on a prescribed proforma, independently. The Rating Points are based on:

Format of the Paper: Standard components of a paper like abstract, introduction, various headings, discussions, conclusions, references, etc.

Main matter: Subject matter of the paper and its presentation.

References: How well the subject has been researched.

Illustrations: The content, quality and relevance of the figures, photographs, etc.

Language: Flow, vocabulary and simplicity.

References and Illustrations may not constitute integral part of a paper. For instance, there may be Case Studies or papers on fundamental concepts where either of these may not be necessary. In such cases, the average Rating of other heads may be awarded to these two or one, as the case may be.

For maintaining the secrecy of authorship, besides deleting the author's name, the references and acknowledgements are also edited for the purpose of scrutiny. Efforts, however, are made to retain the general structure of the quoted references so as not to influence the overall composition of the paper.
