ISEG 2nd Geotechnical Orientation Programme 2012

Will be held in Delhi-NCR during 04-06 April 2012.

Ten technical sessions of 2 hrs each.

Programme custom designed for Professionals engaged in Engineering Geological and Geotechnical Engineering works related to field investigations, data processing and designs pertaining to river valley development, communication and other civil engineering projects. The focus is on major project components like river diversion/ storage structures, tunnels, underground chambers, slope cuts, etc.

Secretarial Release

• The Society is conducting its 2nd Geotechnical Orientation Programme at Delhi-NCR on 04-06 April 2012. The inaugural programme was held in October 2009 and was attended by participants from fifteen government, semi-government and private organizations. An ideal programme for professionals engaged in geotechnical activities, both in field as well as at desk.

• The Society’s Annual General Meeting for the Year 2011 will be held on 21 February 2012 at Geological Survey of India, Faridabad. The Members of the ISEG are requested to attend. The event follows a Technical Lecture under the auspices of ISEG Delhi-NCR Chapter.

• The latest issue of the Society’s Journal of Engineering Geology is due to be released very shortly.
